Biogas Plant

Sewaf Energy Biogas technology is suitable for useful disposal of all kinds of food waste, agriculture waste, cow dung and animal manure in fresh condition as well as the biodegradable portion of MSW. Biogas primarily constitutes Methane (CH4) and Carbon dioxide (CO2) and may also have small amounts or traces of Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), moisture and siloxanes. This energy release allows biogas to be used as a fuel in gas engines to convert the energy in gas into electricity and heat.

Our Highlights

  • Self-sustainable Plant- As far as possible all the equipment used in this plant runs without electricity. (Example- Analog reading, Manual measurement) However, sometimes electricity is required, so it can be replaced by solar energy.
  • High quality manure – Weed free manure obtained from such waste. It has high nitrogen contents and acts as an excellent soil conditioner.
  • Zero garbage – The plant can be installed at the point of generation or close to the point of generation.
  • Zero effluent – The filtrate water from the plant is recycled and the solid output is high quality manure. 
  • High quality methane gas – A one ton plant will generate an equivalent of 90 to 100m3 of biogas with methane content of around 50 to 65% or more than 65% if plant is accurately maintained.
  • Gas supply -Produced compressed gas can be supplied to nearby Hotels, Canteens, CNG station and Industries through pipeline or by cylinder.
