Wind Turbine Installation and Service in Chennai, Tamilnadu
Wind turbine installation and service in Chennai, Tamilnadu – Sewaf energy give a top most wind turbine installation and service in Chennai.
Sewaf Energy is a clean tech startup providing easy access to affordable & reliable source of power. We provide customized power solutions to varying needs of the user. We started as a wind energy and grown into a company providing hybrid solutions.
We believe that neither of the technologies such as wind & solar alone can provide the desired power output. Our clients wanted to have reliable power both in day and night. With solar mainly providing power in the daytime and wind providing power at the night time, now clients have power round the clock which reduces the power storage cost. Indian market is very diverse for having different types of regions having varying wind speeds.
Wind Turbine Installation for every budget
The mast is erected using a crane, either as a single unit, or in multiple parts for wind turbine service. Once secured, the nacelle containing the generator is hoisted on top of the mast, and secured in place. Finally, the turbine blades themselves are lifted and attached to the generator.
The turbine components to be installed are the tower, nacelle, hub and blades.
There are, as noted above, four major kinds of reaction wind turbines in wide use: the Kaplan, Francis, Deriaz, and propeller type. In fixed-blade propeller and adjustable-blade Kaplan turbines (named after the Austrian inventor Victor Kaplan), there is essentially an axial flow through the machine.
What are advantages of turbines in Sewaf energy?
Wind turbines harness energy from the wind using mechanical power to spin a generator and create electricity. Not only is wind an abundant and inexhaustible resource, but it also provides electricity without burning any fuel or polluting the air.
How the Turbine blades works in wind?
A turbine blade is a radial aerofoil mounted in the rim of a turbine disc and which produces a tangential force which rotates a turbine rotor.
Each turbine disc has many blades. As such they are used in gas turbine engines and steam turbines. The blades are responsible for extracting energy from the high temperature, high pressure gas produced by the combustor.
The turbine blades are often the limiting component of gas turbines.
To survive in this difficult environment, turbine blades often use exotic materials like super alloys and many different methods of cooling that can be categorized as internal and external cooling and thermal barrier coatings.
Turbine Blade fatigue is a major source of failure in steam turbines and gas turbines. Fatigue is caused by the stress induced by vibration and resonance within the operating range of machinery. To protect blades from these high dynamic stresses, friction dampers are used.
Blades of wind turbines and water turbines are designed to operate in different conditions, which typically involve lower rotational speeds and temperatures.
Wind power or wind energy is mostly the use of wind turbines to generate electricity. Wind power is a popular, sustainable, renewable energy source that has a much smaller impact on the environment than burning fossil fuels.
Towers section are the structural base of the wind turbine that support the rotor and the nacelle module. There are three main types of tower section used in large wind turbines towers:
(1) Tubular steel towers
(2) Tattice towers, and
(3) Hybrid towers.
Most modern wind turbine towers are conical tubular steel towers.
Each type of turbine will use wind power to turn the turbine’s blades and can be mounted in three main ways;
- roof-mounted,
- Standalone
- On the external walls of your home, as is the case with the micro-wind turbine.
