Biogas Electricity
In most cases, biogas is used as fuel for combustion engines, which convert it to mechanical energy, powering an electric generator to produce electricity. The design of an electric generator is similar to the design of an electric motor. Biomass is burned in a boiler to produce high-pressure steam. This steam flows over a series of turbine blades, causing them to rotate. The rotation of the turbine drives a generator, producing electricity.
Biogas plants are reliable source of decentralized Renewable Energy for heating, cooking as well as generating electricity/power generation and as thermal energy application alternative in our country.
